American Soldier

1.
  A. I believe the most powerful picture is #77 of his mom crying. It shows the emotion of the experience of having your child go to fight for our country

  B. Set #1: Photo 1-7
    Set #2: Photo 8-50
    Set #3: Photo 51-70
    Set #4  Photo 70-83

  C. I believe set #3 is most powerful because it shows what kind of combat he had to go through In the army.

2.
  A. The photos are mostly written in past tense.

  B. it is there so that people can understand what is going on in the pictures       and the reader can take the journey with this boy.

4.
Image #15
Ian waits patiently in a chair for his turn to talk to the sergeant about his new    claim on his injury on June 20th in the lobby of the sergeant's office.

Image #63
Ian makes a call ,while holding the hand gun, to his girlfriend about his assessment later that day  from his bedroom.

Image #78
Ian's mom sheds a tear while she watches him first enter in the gymnasium after not seeing him for a long period of time.

5.
A.  These other features enhance the photograph so that it is brighter and more realistic.

B.  Videos are better than photographs when you want to hear what the person    actually went through and not just see it. For example when Ian was getting scolded by his sergeant most people would want to hear that and not just see it.
C.  Photos are better when there's something that could be left unsaid. For example when Ian was in counseling thats something some people don't want to watch.
