1. You are able to zoom in on the pictures and focus and un-focus certain focal points.
2. It is a point and shoot camera with all manual settings where you pick the subject and start shooting.
3. This photographer would have to know how to work a camera in all of its manual settings and know how to manipulate the different settings.
4. I think it is worth the money if you're wanting to take a lot of quick motion shots so for someone who has a family or needs to capture the monumental moments.
