"The camera"

Vocabulary words- 

1.  Pixel- The smallest element in a display device.
2.  Auto Focus- an optical device for focussing a camera or other instrument automatically.
3. Leaf Shutters- the shutter is constructed of diaphragm-like blades and can be situated either between the lens or behind the lens. 
4. Shutter lag- The delay between triggering the shutter and when the photograph is actually recorded. 


Other Vocab words: 

1.   Aperture- hole or an opening through which light travels.
2.   Shutter- device that allows light to pass for a determined period of time, for the    purpose of exposing photographic film or a light-sensitive electronic sensor to light to capture a permanent image of a scene.
3.   Exposure- presentation to view, especially in an open or public manner
4.   Depth of Field- the range of distances along the axis of an optical instrument,usually a camera lens.
5.   F-Stop- the setting of an adjustable lens apertureas indicated by an number.
6.   Focal length-the distance from a focal point of a lens or mirror to thecorresponding principal plane.
